1-4 pm following the guild meeting
Class: School House Quilt Block
Instructor: Eddie Walker
Normally, a full day workshop, Eddie will be teaching us how to make the blocks for her School House Quilt. A great technique class or you can finish the quilt at home. The quilt uses light and dark fat quarters, so it’s a stash buster! We will trace pattern on to freezer paper (Eddie will supply tracings on freezer paper), and cut in class. Blocks go together quickly and we should be able to get a light and a dark block completed.
Skill Level - Beginner to Advanced quilter.
One-day workshop. This is a great pattern Fat Quarter driven with lights and darks. The pattern is very much like a "Buggy Barn," but not crazy. The block is a very traditional "House Block." Guilds have done this in the past and each person made an extra block and completed a Habitat for Humanity or charity quilt.
Class Fee: $35 (pay to CRGQG)
